The long awaited Skytropolis Indoor theme park has finally made it’s comeback with 22 new attractions to be explored! The newly revamped indoor theme park promises a new dimension of fun and adrenaline-packed adventures! When you enter the theme park, thousands of colorful lighting greets you ( it felt like I was in the movie Tron).
The Skytropolis Funland is the go-to place for you and your family. An unforgettable time is promised. Hell yeah! Covering 400,000 square feet, the Skytropolis Funland includes Asia’s fist The VOID hyper reality centre, BigTop Video Games Park and soon the Imaginatrix that combines physical rides with virtual reality.
Big Top
Let your fun side run loose and venture in an adventure at the new Big Top Video Games Park. This is a great place to get your Instagram worthy photos too *winks*. This circus-themed arcade is located at Level 2 of Skytropolis and it has the best and widest range of 150 cutting edge games. Perfect place for arcade lovers.
The Void
Besides the carnival rides, Skytopolis Funland also have The VOID, a hyper reality experience that features cutting-edge technology and world-class content! Not forgetting that it is the biggest centre out of North America and the first in Asia! It uses custom VR technology along with physical stages to create immersive experiences. The VOID includes titles from well-loved franchises such as Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, Ralph Breaks VR, Ghostbusters and their own original spooky experience: Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment.
Ripley’s Adventureland
Find Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Jurassic Research Center and 4D Trick Art Museum in Ripley’s Adeventureland zone located at Sky Avenue Big Box level 4!
Zombie Outbreak
Have you ever experience a zombie apocalyptic world? Or wonder how it would be like? Just when you thought you found a safe place to hide away from the zombie, think twice. Skytropolis Funland has their very own zombie scare house with zombie chasers that creep up being you. They chase you right till the exit. The best part is that it is Instagram worthy as well. Will you be able to survive this scare zone or will you not make it out alive? Start running, Muhahahahah!
Jurassic Research Centre
RAWWWRRRR! Time travel back 65 million years ago, into the world filled with ginormous animals who ruled the land before humans did. Be mesmerized by 100 life-sized dinosaurs right in front of your face! It’s a place where you can get up close and personal with the dinosaurs. Definitely not a place you want to miss, somehow I found myself enjoying this place so much. Great for kids too!
Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium
As the name suggests, you will see many weird and odd exhibitions in
Eagle Landing Zipline
Do you have a good head for heights? Adrenaline junkies can head to the Eagle Landing Zipline, stretching 200 metres across the indoor theme park, 4 floors above ground offering a one-of-a-kind view of the whole indoor theme park! Sounds like fun to me!
Tickets are at RM31 for one rider, RM25 for two riders and RM19 for 4 riders. A weight and height limit applies for participants.
4D Trick Art Museum
Alive Museum has a humongous range of artworks that tricks your eye with optical illusions making 2D objects become 3D! How cool is that? It is an interactive museum where all the artworks are “free to touch”! Another great place for you and your kids. This is a must go to place to snap those fun and creative memories!
Bona Cinema
Bring your cinema experience to another level with Bona cinema. I have always been a huge movie fan. When watching a blockbuster I will invest and choose the best seat to ensure I have the full experience. The gold class cinema at @resortsworldgenting brought the blockbuster experience to a whole new level.
Not only your seats are able to fully incline to the optimal comfort but their seats vibrate and shake to the movie as well. So you are able to totally immerse yourself in the movie, feeling every vibration and trembles the character is experiencing. Bring my movie experience of @alitamovieto new heights. Sky Symphony Show
After spending all your money on the attractions, food and shopping you want something free right? Guess what? The Sky Symphony Show is a free-to-public performance showcasing an extraordinary orchestra of audio, visual and motion graphics programming!
Fun fact, Sky Symphony is the largest permanent winch instalment in Asia and the first multimedia winch attraction in Asia! The old and young will definitely enjoy this programme!
Ticket pricing
Pay-per-ride tickets are priced at RM10 from Mondays to Fridays and at RM15 on Saturdays to Sundays, Public Holidays, Eve of Public Holidays and on School Holidays. For those looking for an unlimited experience based on the available rides, the Skytropolis Funland Preview Pass is available at RM60. Tickets for Skytroplis Funland can be purchased at the Ticketing Counters or at the Self-Service Ticketing Kiosks. Alternatively, Preview Passes may be purchased online at www.rwgenting.com. Operating hours are from 10am to 10pm.
