Mid-Autumn festival also known as Mooncake festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. Every 15th of each lunar month, the moon is at its roundest and brightest. It symbolises togetherness and reunion in the Chinese Culture. This year, the Mid-Autumn festival will be held on the 24th of September!

The Chinese would celebrate this festive by hanging lanterns, play with fire sparkles etc. What is Mid-Autumn festival without food? Food that are round shaped means unity and togetherness. The must eat food in this season would be the mooncakes which symbolises good wishes and happiness.
