HOTEL ON THE PARK
We all have very fond memories of the old Theme Park Hotel. Filled with many nostalgic moments through the generations the Theme Park Hotel was indeed a place that brought many happy memories for the entire family. The old Theme Park Hotel have now received a new look and design.
It is now reopened and called Hotel On The Park. Hotel on the Park is a boutique hotel that is not only affordable but filled with its fun and playful décor. In the past they could only host 2 to 3 guest per room, 4 if you really squeeze it in. But now fear not, the new hotel can now host up to 6 people in a room.
The rooms are designed in a cute Tatami-style where the beds are on a raised platform. The platform itself holds many tricks, your luggage all goes into the slots and there is even a safe hidden to store all your valuables. As for the design of the room itself everything reminds me of the home a certain cartoon character.
They may no longer have a hotel restaurant but there is a grab and go F&B outlet named Eatopia. It is a place for you to either grab and munch along the way or seat and view their back garden as you enjoy your coffee with a muffin or even a nasi lemak.
There are many places of interest around the hotel. At back of the hotel you are able to find a very instagramable spot and the Sky Avenue is just a mere 5 minuets walk away. Also try taking photos when its dark around the hotel, the red lights makes it feel very sci-fi.

The Newest mall in town is the Sky Avenue, currently holding more then 70 new retail and dining outlets. Spread across the mall is a spellbinding world-class LED display bound to make you feel like you’re transported into a different time.

La Fiesta which means The Party is an authentic Spanish restaurant located right in the Sky Avenue that hold up to 90 people. Cozy and intimate, la Fiesta is designed to look like a traditional Catalan eatery with its stain glass to the tiled arches and muted lighting. Once you walk in pass the stain glass you will be greeted by the open kitchen where all the magic happens. Great place to dine and get lost in their music along some company.
Paella is one of the most popular and famous of global dishes, and every authentic Spanish restaurant needs good Paella. At the La Fiesta they stayed true to their roots and presented to us a whole selection of mouthwatering dishes. Next time your there check out the Presa Iberica (Vermouth marinated and pan-seared pork shoulder), Salmorejo ( Cold tomato cream soup with tuna & ham), Crema Catalana (Caramelised custard cream) and Churros Rellenos ( Nutella filled churros).

Resorts World Genting’s newest cable car system, The Awana Skyway. With 99 gondolas it has the ability to carry 3000 passengers every hour. It also gives you a bird’s eye view of the 130-million-year-old rainforest that surrounds this beautiful city. Out of the 99 gondolas 10 of them are fitted with a glass floor to give you an unobstructed view of the breath taking surroundings. A neat trick is that if you have the Silver Rewards card you are able to skip the queue with a friend.
