Hey Ivannation and the people who stays at the west side of Singapore. Close to 300 people queue at Westgate mall for the opening of Spotlight’s second store. The first person in line started queuing at 6 am and the queue grew up to 300 people.
Products such as the ‘Living Space’ Gumball Ottomans and Memory Foam pillows were flying off the shelves and had to be constantly restocked.
ABOUT THE GRAND OPENING OF SPOTLIGHT WESTGATE
Australian retail giant, Spotlight, known for its fabrics, craft and homeware products, opened its second store in Singapore on 10 November (Saturday). Located on the third floor of Westgate mall, it spans 16, 000 sqft.
To celebrate the opening, Spotlight gave away free Pillows to the first 200 visitors to the store in addition to games, giveaways, activities, face painting, balloons and more! It was a fun-filled day for families!
From 10 – 14 November, one can enjoy exclusive opening deals and discounts such as Memory Foam Pillows at only SGD$9, 40% Off ALL fabrics and ALL knitting yarn and selected Logan and Mason Quilt Cover going for SGD$39 a set to name a few*.

“The new store will provide Jurong East and surrounding communities with the biggest range of sewing, craft, party, home décor and home furnishing products with on-trend and affordable styles” He adds “We are excited to bring the new Spotlight store to the community, which will employ approximately 40 staff with ongoing employment opportunities for the region.”
