The Fortune Pot in Peking Style is not the same as the normal Fortune Pots! Here at Prima Tower, it is not a gravy base but instead, is a luscious and rich soup base. Made from a whooping 16 ingredients such as shark’s fin and 12 head abalones, the soup was indeed flavourful and appetizing. It was so good that I drank 3 bowls of the wonderful broth!

The Braised Fresh Scallop with Water Chestnut in Chili Sauce was scallops complemented with a sauce which gave a punch of sweet, sour and spicy flavours in your tastebuds. What a take on scallops!

My personal favourite, the Braised Pig’s Trotters with Fish Maw & Fatt Choy in Claypot is a classic Guangdong dish which was incredibly tasty with ingredients symbolizing wealth, every bite was satisfying and full of collagen.

Dessert was Candied Mashed Potato with Rice Pudding, an interesting take on caramelizing mashed potato with red dates, with a crispy outer shell and soft filling. It was pairs with glutinous rice cakes, just like the good ol’ days filled with peanuts and red bean.
